Emerald Awakenings is the home of all things death and grief.
Founded by End-of-Life Guide, Nicole Comach, Emerald Awakenings was created with the intention of supporting her community in navigating the death and dying process through advance planning, after death guidance, death education, and grief companionship. This heart centered work helps to normalize death and grief, guiding us in exploration, all while illuminating the role of death in life.

Trainings and further education
My death related educational opportunities come from all over the country. I have studied topics such as advance planning, comfort care at end-of-life, legacy work and ceremony, home funerals, natural burials, ambiguous loss and grief, and speaking with children about death. I am committed to furthering my knowledge through real life experience, speaking to my community, and growing my resource connections with other death workers.
